Cyclosportives
A chance to explore the spectacular Vercors and participate in an organised mass cycling event. A medical certificate is required.
All cyclosportive weeks are based on the Dunne Roaming weekly itinerary and includes:

Dauphine-Libere
Sunday 23rd – Sunday 30th May (tbc)
A very popular early season event with over 1000 particpants. Departs and finishes from Autrans in the north of The Vercors and climbs all the major climbs and cols including Col de la Chau, Col de la Machine, Col de la Croix, Col de Carri and Col de Rousset, passing through St.Jean-en-Royans after descending the breathtaking Combe Laval.
3 alternative distances of 63kms (2 Cols), 130kms (4 Cols) and 173kms (9 Cols).

L'Ardechoise
Sunday 13th – Sunday 20th June 2010 (tbc)
The sportive is on Saturday 19th followed by dinner at a local restaurant in St.Jean-en-Royan.
One of the biggest organised cycling event in Europe for the competitive and tourist rider who wants to experience the fun and challenge of riding with over 13000 other cyclists.
Choose from 6 routes:
- Le doux - 66kms (2 cols)
- Boutières (120kms (5 cols)
- The Volcanic 171kms (8 cols
- The race queen l 'Ardéchoise 216kms (10 cols)
- The saps 223kms (14 cols)
- The Terrible Ardéchoise Bike Marathon 268kms (15 cols and 5175m of total climbing!)

Vercors- Drome
Sunday 22nd -Sunday 29th Aug 2010 (to be confirmed)
An end of season event with over 1000 participants in its 16th year. Starts and finishes in nearby Romans-sur-Isere and ventures into the heart of the spectacular Vercors National Park.
Routes to be announced but usually there are 3 alternative distances of 90/130/160kms

La Dromoise
Saturday 25th September – Saturday 2nd Oct 2010 (tbc)
Starting and finishing in Die, this is relative new sportive which began in 2008 attracting up to 1000 riders. A great way to explore the southern part of the Vercors in the Drome Provencal area where the landscape becomes drier, hotter and flatter meandering through little villages and hamlets.
There are 3 alternative distances:
- 70km total climbing 750m
- 140kms total climbing 1200m
- 180kms total climbing 2300m
