Getting To Us


Fly to Lyon St.Expury. Then take the airport tram from Lyon to Lyon Part Dieu (every 30 mins and costs 15 Euro each) and then take the TGV train to Valence TGV where we can arrange to pick you up ( Taxi transfer is 60 Euro each way - discount for solo travellers)

Alternatively we can arrange to collect you - its a 1 1/2 hour drive and the cost is 110 Euro each way.

Fly to Geneva - hire a car. 3 hour drive to Velo Vercors.


It is possible to travel on Eurostar with your bike but please check out their latest Terms and Conditions.

London direct to Lyon

New for 2015 - non-stop trains from St. Pancras to Lyon (4 hours).

St.Pancras to Valence TGV via Lille

From the UK take the Eurostar from St.Pancras and change at Lille (simply a platform change) to pick up the TGV train to Valence TGV station where we can collect you. Transfer is 60 Euro each way (35 min drive). About a 6 1/2 hour journey door to door. You will need to check Eurostar Terms and Conditions on taking bikes.

St.Pancras to Valence TGV via Paris

From London to Paris and transfer to the TGV bullet train to Valence TGV (2 hour 20 train journey) We can pick you up. Transfer fees as above.

Taxi Transfer

We have agreed rates with our local taxi company based in St.Jean-en-Royans. For you, your bike and luggage a one way trip with a max of 6 people will cost:

Valence TGV 60 Euro

Lyon St.Expury 180 Euro   (If possible we can transfer you to Lyon St.Expury for a cheaper rate of 130 Euro)


By Ferry or Eurotunnel to Calais, then 10 hour drive to St.Jean-en-Royans.

Directions to Velo Vercors

When you come off the autoroute at St.Nazaire-en-Royans follow the sign for St.Jean-en-Royans (15kms) passing through St.Thomas-en-Royans. On the incline into St.Jean you will pass the Gendarmarie on the left. Take the next right (Rue des Industries) passing La Poste on the left as you turn into the road. Follow the road all the way until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right hand fork which descends into Montee des Usines. As you descend the entrance to Velo Vercors is directly in front of you. If you pass the Pisciculture (trout farm) you have gone too far.
