Bed & Breakfast
As from April 2012 we will be offering a B & B option for those wanting a shorter stay. 1 double and 1 triple rooms are on site with their own front door access, independent of us but with us on hand should we be needed.

Optional Extras
- Home-cooked 3 course evening meals inc. wine and coffee 30E pp. We encourage our guests to join us for dinner on the day of their arrival to meet ourselves and other guests on a social basis, to discuss rides and what they want out of the holiday over a glass of wine and to get their holiday off to a great start. We don't offer a fully catered option, (unless you are here on one of our inclusive per person Sportive or Tour de France packages) as unlike other cycling centres we are based in a charming French town offering gourmet, bistro and takeaway meals and of course being based in self-catering gites there is the option of cooking for yourself or stoking up the BBQ. Saying that we are happy to cook another meal if you give us one days notice.

Accompanied Rides with ex GB/International
Roger's vast knowledge of the area, wealth of experience and infectious passion made him an unparalleled guide, coach and companion on the road. Tom Winser, St. Albans, Sept 2011
Roger had a 12 cycling career in the UK and on the Continent. He represented GB and was signed to Top International Teams in Luxembourg and France who went on to produce Tour de France winners. He finished his career in the Vercors with the local VCRP Team in Romans-sur-Isere, home to Tour de France yellow jersey winner, local boy and friend of Velo Vercors, Charley Mottet. He is available to accompany individuals and groups and to offer coaching advice on improving general riding technique, Alpine climbing and descending and he knows all the best cafe stops.

Bike Hire
Scott Hybrid, Scott/Trek Aluminium, Trek Madone or similar Carbon and Lynskey Titanium road bikes available for hire. Children's bikes, Trek Tagalong and child bike seats also available. For prices click Bike Hire
Arrival and Departure
We generally run a Saturday to Saturday programme. However, we will always try to accommodate our guests and can be flexible depending on availability. On arrival day the gites will be available from 3pm onwards and on departure day you will need to vacate by 11am. For groups larger than 14 or when we are at full capacity we reserve the option of accommodating guests in a local hotel or other gites which have been checked by us to ensure quality and service.
Our season runs from April until the end of October and our year runs as follows:
- Low Season: April (ex 31st Mar - 15th April which becomes Mid-season )
- Mid Season: from 28th April, May, June, September, October
- High Season: July, August
Weekly Self-catering Rate includes:
- 7 nights gite rental

Weekly Sportive Rate includes:
- 7 nights accommodation in gite
- Gite stocked with everything you need for hearty breakfasts throughout your stay
- 3 3 course home cooked evening meals inc. wine and coffee
- Towel and bedlinen rental
- 4 accompanied rides
- Comprehensive choice of cycle routes
- Fitness,nutritional and training advice
- Transport to and from Sportive
- Our local knowledge of the town and region
- Transport pickup from Valence TGV station*

- 3 or 4 nights accommodation in gite

Sportive Rates do not include:
- Lunches or refreshments at morning or afternoon stops
- Additional evening meals however, these can be requested prior or during your stay
- Travel insurance
- Emergency rescue service
- Entrance Fee to the Sportive
- Transport is priced on return journey with bike from Valence TGV. For return transport from Grenoble airport and Lyon airport there will be a supplementary fee based on number in group.
- Please note you need a doctors medical certificate to participate in all sportives.
Exchange rate from sterling to Euro will be calculated at time of booking
Terms and Conditions
- Payment by bank transfer or cheque. If you choose to do a bank transfer we will call you with our bank details.
- A deposit of 25% of the total booking fee will secure your reservation
- The final balance is required 12 weeks in advance of your arrival
- A security deposit of £200 to cover damage, breakages or excessive cleaning is requested with your final payment. This will be returned once the gite has been checked.
- If you wish to cancel your booking we must receive written confirmation by email to info@velovercors.com or by post to Velo Vercors, Montee des Usines, 26190 St.Jean-en-Royans, Drome, France. Cancellation fees are as follows: 12 weeks or more before arrival date all monies returned except the non-refundable deposit, 12-8 weeks, 50% refund, excluding initial deposit, 8 weeks or less - no refund.
- All guests must have holiday insurance which covers cycling and we will request details prior to arrival.
- We reserve the right to amend our prices and details at any time.
